How we verify

We list 140 hotels with a confirmed spa. Here is what that means – and what it does not mean.

What we check

A hotel is only included if its own website shows that it has a spa. For each hotel we then check individual details: hotel accommodation, spa packages with an overnight stay, spa packages with dinner, indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, treatments, day spa, whether children are welcome in the spa, phone number and address.

We distinguish between three things that are often confused: that the hotel has rooms, that it sells spa packages with an overnight stay and that spa access is included in a particular package. Spa access may be time-limited or only included in certain packages, so we do not state it until we have verified it.

Which sources we use

Only the hotel’s own website. We do not use review sites, booking portals or AI-generated texts as sources. The source pages are saved for each hotel.

When the information was last checked

The latest review was carried out on 1 November 2026. Hotels that have created a business account can update their phone number, address and website themselves.

“We have not yet verified this information”

If it says this, we have not found the information on the hotel’s website. It does not mean that the hotel lacks, for example, a pool – only that we cannot confirm it. Ask the hotel directly.

How paid placements affect the order

Hotels can pay to appear at the top for a town, a province or all of Sweden. Such placements are always labelled Ad and are limited to three per placement. Other hotels are shown in alphabetical order. Payment never affects the facts we state about a hotel. Read more on the advertising page (in Swedish).
